Aamir Khan Completes Sitaare Zameen Par Shoot, Film To Undergo THIS Special Post-Production Process In Feb 2025
AAMIR KHAN HAS COMPLETED THE FINAL SHOOT FOR SITAARE ZAMEEN PAR. THE FILM NOW MOVES TO POST-PRODUCTION AHEAD OF ITS SUMMER 2025 RELEASE.
Aamir Khan has officially finished filming his upcoming movie Sitaare Zameen Par at Film City, Mumbai. Directed by RS Prasanna, the film is now entering post-production, where the team will work on editing, visual effects, and sound design. This follows Khan’s decision to delay the film’s release until summer 2025.
Aamir Khan Concludes Sitaare Zameen Par Shoot In Mumbai
As per a Mid-day report, the final shoot took place on Sunday (Dec 15) and was a long day of additional filming. The session began at 2 PM and wrapped up late at night.
A source close to the production said, “Aamir wanted to ensure the film was wrapped up on Sunday. With the shoot done, Sitaare Zameen Par has now reached the finish line.” As the shooting is now complete, the focus moves to fine-tuning the film in post-production.
Sitaare Zameen Par is being called a spiritual sequel to Khan’s Taare Zameen Par (2007). It is also an official remake of the Spanish sports comedy Campeones (2018), starring Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh in key roles. The film blends heartwarming moments with comedy and sports, aiming to connect with a wide audience.
Film To Undergo THIS Special Post-Production Process Like Dangal & Secret Superstar
Post-production will be a detailed process as Aamir Khan is known for being deeply involved in every step. He has previously used focus-group screenings for films like Dangal (2016) and Secret Superstar (2017) to improve the story.
“He had done this with Dangal (2016) and Secret Superstar (2017). The feedback from these sessions is crucial for him to fine-tune the narrative,” said an insider. The screenings are expected to begin in February 2025 to ensure the film meets Khan’s vision.
Originally scheduled for release in December 2024, Sitaare Zameen Par will now hit cinemas in the summer of 2025. This delay will give the team more time to perfect the film and ensure it meets Khan’s high standards.
