According to the report, Ajay Devgn has been keen on building a film franchise dedicated to forgotten warriors of Indian history. Although the project was delayed due to other commitments, recent meetings at Devgn’s office hint that the sequel is back on track.
Initially, the duo considered making a film on Maratha general Baji Prabhu Deshpande, known for his bravery during the Battle of Pavan Khind. However, since the Marathi movie Pawankhind already explored this story in 2022, the filmmakers are now rethinking their approach.
The team is still in the early stages of planning but hasn’t ruled out the idea of focusing on Baji Prabhu. At the same time, they are exploring other Maratha heroes whose stories can be brought to the big screen.
