IBRAHIM ALI KHAN AND KHUSHI KAPOOR’S ROMANTIC COMEDY NAADANIYAAN WILL PREMIERE ON NETFLIX IN EARLY 2025.
Naadaniyaan, a teen romantic comedy featuring Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor will get a direct digital release. The film has been produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment.
Ibrahim, son of Saif Ali Khan, and Khushi, daughter of the late Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, will star in the lead roles. They will be joined by Suniel Shetty and Dia Mirza in key roles. The film promises to offer a fun and breezy take on teenage love and humour.
Ibrahim Ali Khan & Khushi Kapoor’s Naadaniyaan To Be A Netflix Release
According to a Peeping Moon report, Karan Johar has collaborated with Netflix India to release the film digitally. It is expected to stream on the digital platform in the first half of 2025.
Directed by Shauna Gautam, known for her work as an assistant director on films like Sanju and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani, this marks her debut as a director. Riva Razdan Kapoor has written the story and screenplay, with dialogues by Ishita Moitra and Jehan Handa.
The original release for Naadaniyaan was planned for Valentine’s Day 2025. However, with Khushi’s other film, the Love Today remake, scheduled for a theatrical release on February 7, the Netflix premiere may be pushed to a later date. The film is currently in post-production, and anticipation is building.
Ibrahim Also Has Sarzameen With KJo’s Dharma Productions
This will be Ibrahim Ali Khan’s third project. His debut film, Sarzameen, from Dharma Productions, is expected to mark the start of his Bollywood career.
He is also working on Diler, produced by Maddock Films, where he stars alongside South Indian actress Sreeleela.
For Khushi Kapoor, Naadaniyaan is her second project with Netflix, following her debut in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies. Before this film, she will appear in the Love Today remake, which is her first theatrical release and stars Aamir Khan’s son, Junaid Khan.
This film is another success in the growing partnership between Dharmatic Entertainment and Netflix. The two have previously worked together on films such as Guilty and Ajeeb Daastaans, as well as the popular show Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives.
Dharmatic Entertainment Working On 2 More Projects With
Their collaboration continues with more exciting projects. Upcoming releases include a relationship drama by Anubhuti Kashyap, starring Konkona Sen Sharma and Pratibha Ranta, and a quirky romcom by Vivek Soni, starring R. Madhavan and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Both films are set to premiere on Netflix in 2025.
