SHAH RUKH KHAN IS SET TO START SHOOTING KING IN JANUARY 2025, WHILE SALMAN KHAN IS BUSY WRAPPING UP SIKANDAR AND PLANNING A POTENTIAL REUNION WITH DIRECTOR KABIR KHAN.
Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan remain at the top of Bollywood, despite the industry’s slowdown. With both actors having exciting projects coming up, fans can’t wait to see them back in action.
Shah Rukh Khan is all set to start filming King, a movie directed by Sujoy Ghosh and produced by Siddharth Anand and Gauri Khan. The project is currently in pre-production, with the first shooting schedule about to begin.
Shah Rukh Khan To Begin The 1st Schedule On King In Poland
A source quoted in a Pinkvilla report revealed that Shah Rukh will begin shooting in Poland by the end of January 2025. His daughter Suhana Khan will also join the cast, and the team will film in untouched locations in Warsaw. They plan to shoot in various European cities before heading back to India for more filming.
The plan for King includes shooting in new, unseen locations across Europe, with Shah Rukh and Suhana Khan leading the way. The cast, including Abhishek Bachchan, will be shooting at different spots from January 2025, before wrapping up some final schedules in India.
The film is set for a Summer 2026 release. This marks another collaboration between Siddharth Anand and Shah Rukh Khan, following the success of Pathaan.
Aside from King, Siddharth Anand is busy with several other projects, including Krrish 4, Rambo, and a vigilante action thriller with Akshay Kumar. After finishing King in October 2025, Shah Rukh will move on to Pathaan 2 in the YRF Spy Universe.
Salman Khan Discussing An Action Film With Kabir Khan
Talking about Salman Khan, the actor is close to wrapping up Sikandar, which is slated for an Eid 2025 release. Next, he will begin working on a major film with director Atlee, expected to hit theatres in late 2026. But perhaps the most exciting development for Salman fans is his recent meeting with director Kabir Khan. The two are discussing a potential reunion for a new action-packed film.
Sources close to the discussion revealed that Kabir Khan has an action film in mind, and believes it would be perfect for Salman Khan. Although no decision has been made yet, the two are keen on collaborating. If everything falls into place, the film could begin production by the end of 2025.
Salman and Kabir previously worked together on massive hits like Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, with the latter becoming a cult classic. A reunion would undoubtedly create more magic at the box office, and fans can’t wait to see if this exciting project comes to life.
