SKY FORCE WRAPS UP FILMING WITH A SPECIAL SONG IN MUSSOORIE. IT IS GEARING UP FOR THE RELEASE ON JANUARY 24, 2025.
Akshay Kumar starrer Sky Force has completed filming, wrapping up with a special song shot in the picturesque town of Mussoorie. Directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur, this much-awaited aerial action drama is scheduled to release on January 24, 2025, during Republic Day weekend.
Set during the Indo-Pak tensions of the 1960s-70s, Sky Force is expected to deliver a gripping story. Along with Akshay Kumar, the film features a talented cast, including debutant Veer, Sara Ali Khan, Nimrat Kaur, and Sharad Kelkar. This ambitious project is backed by Maddock Films, Jio Studios, and Amar Kaushik, who also directed Stree 2.
Directors Share Update As Sky Force Wraps Up
The directors recently took to Instagram to share their experiences and gratitude. Sandeep Kewlani expressed his appreciation for the team’s dedication.
He shared a photo of his team and wrote, “I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who worked on Sky Force. The film was definitely a challenging one to bring to life, but it’s the dedication of the crew that made it possible.”
Co-director Abhishek Anil Kapur also praised Amar Kaushik & called him the backbone of the project. He highlighted the teamwork behind the film.
The screenplay has been written by Sandeep Kewlani along with seasoned writers Niren Bhatt (Stree, Bala) and Aamil Keeyan Khan (Drishyam 2, Shaitan). It promises to offer a thrilling mix of action, emotion, and drama.

The film’s action sequences are choreographed by Craig Macrae, an acclaimed stunt expert known for his work on films like Pathaan, War, and Mad Max: Fury Road. Guided by Indian action maestro Parvez Shaikh (Kill, Fighter), the aerial stunts are expected to set a new standard for Bollywood.
Filming for Sky Force took place across several locations, including Mumbai, Lucknow, Amritsar, Delhi, Pathankot, Hyderabad, Sitapur, the UK, and finally, Mussoorie. The final schedule ended on a high note with the filming of a vibrant song.
Now that the shoot is complete, fans can look forward to the motion poster, teaser, and trailer, which are expected to build massive excitement for the film.
Produced by Dinesh Vijan, Amar Kaushik, and Jyoti Deshpande, Sky Force aims to combine thrilling action with patriotic themes. After multiple delays, it is all set to release next month and is among the much-anticipated films of 2025.
