On World Hindi Day 2025, The Artist Talks Institute organized a grand event in Delhi honoring Dr. Avneesh Rahi with the Geet Gandharva Literary Award for his contributions to Hindi literature and social harmony.
On January 10, World Hindi Day, a grand event dedicated to promoting Hindi as an international language was organized by “The Artist Talks Institute” at the “Lok Kala Manch” Auditorium in Delhi. Like every year, the event honored renowned Hindi scholars, literary figures, and educationists from national and international platforms. The event witnessed the participation of several prominent writers from across the country and abroad.
The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the eminent lyricist Dr. Avneesh Rahi.
On this occasion, Dr. Avneesh Rahi was honored with the prestigious “Geet Gandharva Literary Award 2025” for his remarkable contribution to literature. Along with writing songs for Bollywood, he has continuously fulfilled his social responsibilities through his literary work, raising awareness on significant social issues. His efforts have played a pivotal role in promoting social harmony on the global stage through the medium of literature.
The award was presented to Dr. Rahi by Shivam Thakur (National Shooter, Team India), Gaurav Kishore Sharma (News India), and the founder of the institute, Rajesh Rai, along with other dignitaries. He was honored with a medal, a memento, a citation, and a shawl as a token of appreciation.
While accepting the award, Dr. Rahi expressed that receiving the “Geet Gandharva Literary Award” is a testimony to his dedication to Hindi language and literature. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Hindi literature enthusiasts from states like Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Punjab, Delhi, Bihar, and Arunachal Pradesh.
