Scheduled to release on Republic Day 2025, the film has been creating major buzz among fans, especially as it follows the massive success of Gadar 2. Deol announced the release date on his birthday, October 19, 2024, further building excitement for this high-octane action flick.

Adding to the anticipation, fresh reports suggest that the teaser for Jaat is on its way. A 1-minute, 28-second teaser has recently been certified U/A 16+ by the censor board, hinting that it might drop soon.
With the film’s release date fast approaching, promotional efforts are expected to kick off in December. Sources claim the teaser might even be attached to upcoming theatrical releases, giving audiences a sneak peek.
Sunny Deol Revealed His FIRST Look in October
Sunny first revealed the title and his rugged first look from Jaat on his birthday. The striking poster showed the actor holding a massive blood-smeared fan. It has a tagline, “Introducing the man with a national permit for MASSIVE ACTION.”
The announcement promised a high-octane, larger-than-life action spectacle, and fans are counting down the days.

Directed by Gopichand Malineni, Jaat marks an exciting north-south collaboration, a first for both the director and Sunny Deol. The film boasts a stellar supporting cast, including Randeep Hooda, Vineet Kumar Singh, Saiyami Kher, and Regina Cassandra.
Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers, alongside TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory, the film brings together some of the best talents in the industry. The music is composed by Thaman S, while Rishi Punjabi handles the cinematography. Naveen Nooli serves as the editor, with Avinash Kolla as the production designer. Action sequences, a key highlight of the film, are choreographed by Peter Hein, Anl Arasu, Ram Laxman, and Venkat.
Sunny recently wrapped up filming for Jaat and has returned to work on Lahore 1947, where additional scenes are being shot under Aamir Khan’s guidance. Next on his schedule is Border 2, set to be filmed in Kashmir.
